Office Hours and Location

The office is located at 8802 180th St. SE, Snohomish, WA 98296-4804.
(In Clearview between SR 9 and Broadway Ave.) Our hours of operations are Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
The office is closed most holidays. For after hours emergencies only, please call (360) 668-6766 and the answering
service will contact our on-call staff to assist you with your needs.
How The District is Organized

The District is organized under the leadership of an elected
three member Board of Commissioners, supported by a General Manager, a District Treasurer and a staff of office and field employees.
The Board of Commissioners holds a regularly scheduled public meeting the third Tuesday of each month. Periodically
the Board holds a public meeting the first Tuesday of the month. All meetings are open to the public, except the
executive sessions. The meetings are held at the District Office at 3:30 pm. You are welcome to attend these meetings.
If you would like to discuss any issues or concerns with the Board, we request that you contact the General Manager
to reserve your spot on the Agenda.
The Board of Commissioners is the legislative body that establishes District
policies by passing resolutions and motions. The Board also adopts the District’s annual budget, establishes rates
and charges, approves appropriations, contracts for services and issues debt to fund capital expenditures. Annually,
the Board elects a President and a Secretary. The president presides over the Commissioner's Meetings.
Each Commissioner represents the District at various intergovernmental meetings.
