What is An Inquiry?
Are you wanting to connect to Cross Valley Water District? Are you wanting to inquire as to the availability of water service to a particular property? Are you making changes to your property that affect water and/or sewer? Any of these inquiries can be addressed to a property located in the District that affects water or sewer.
To have your inquiries addressed, fill out a Water Service Inquiry Form (PDF) and/or a Sewer Service Inquiry Form (PDF). You will need the following information:
- Parcel/property identification number
- Meter size
- Explanation of project
- Best way to contact you
District staff will research the infrastructure to the property and identify the availability and fees. The process takes approximately 2 to 3 business days to complete.

Water Service
- Property is not currently connected to our system
- County is requiring an availability letter, due to a building permit - There is a $100 charge for a preliminary letter
- Additions / Changes to the current structure/use
Sewer Service (Limited Service Areas)
- Property is not currently connected to our system.
- County is requiring an availability letter, due to a building permit - There is a $100 charge for a preliminary letter

Preliminary Availability Letter
The process takes approximately 2 to 3 business days to complete. You can make payments by cash or check only. Checks should be made out to Cross Valley Water District.
