What is An Inquiry?

Are you wanting to connect to Cross Valley Water District? Are you wanting to inquire as to the availability of water service to a particular property? Are you making changes to your property that affect water and/or sewer? Any of these inquiries can be addressed to a property located in the District that affects water or sewer.

To have your inquiries addressed, fill out a Water Service Inquiry Form (PDF) and/or a Sewer Service Inquiry Form (PDF). You will need the following information:

  1. Parcel/property identification number
  2. Meter size
  3. Explanation of project
  4. Best way to contact you

District staff will research the infrastructure to the property and identify the availability and fees. The process takes approximately 2 to 3 business days to complete. 

Submission Examples

Water Service 

  1. Property is not currently connected to our system
  2. County is requiring an availability letter, due to a building permit - There is a $100 charge for a preliminary letter
  3. Additions / Changes to the current structure/use 

Sewer Service (Limited Service Areas) 

  1. Property is not currently connected to our system. 
  2. County is requiring an availability letter, due to a building permit - There is a $100 charge for a preliminary letter
  3. Additions / Changes to the current structure/use

Preliminary Availability Letter

The process takes approximately 2 to 3 business days to complete. You can make payments by cash or check only. Checks should be made out to Cross Valley Water District.
