To reduce exposure to lead, the US EPA implemented that all water systems conduct an inventory of all pipes in the ground to discover the material type by October 16, 2024. This inventory is referred to as the "Lead Service Line Inventory". The purpose is to discover pipes made of "Lead" or "Galvanized steel requiring replacement".
THE DISTRICT REPORTS NO LEAD SERVICE LINES WERE DISCOVERED IN THE 2024 INVENTORY.
